{ Our Current Adventures }

This year we are working full-time as interns at the UGA Wesley Foundation in Athens, Ga.  Husband is working at Best Buy on the Geek Squad; Wife is working at Borders as a bookseller (until her photography career becomes consistent--aka an indefinite period of time). In the meantime, Husband is looking into grad school for business, Wife is getting a photoblog started up and looking for weddings to shoot, and both are trusting the Lord to decide where to go when the time is right.

We absolutely love our "job," which looks like this:
  • We get to invest in students through discipleship.
  • We daily pray for the campus, the city, and the Body of Christ.
  • And we get to see the Lord tangibly answer those prayers.
  • We get to be a witness to physical, emotional and spiritual healing daily through the lives of our fellow staff, leaders and students.
  • We get to see His provision in our own lives and in the lives of our friends.
  • We get to hear God speak as we listen to Him, corporately and individually.
  • We get to experience God's heart.
  • We grow through discipleship, studying and meditating on the Word, dialoguing with God, and fellowship.
  • We get to experience the abundant life with 80 of our closest friends in beautiful community.
An amazing thing about Wesley is that there is so much encouragement to grow in our gifts and callings. Wife exercises her passion through writing, design and photography in the Wesley newsletter (email her for information on how to sign up for a digital or physical copy of said newsletter) and Husband exercises his passion for administration, finances and Christian resources in the administrative ministry.

Husband is a second-year healing prayer and administration intern; wife is a first-year prayer intern in the freshman ministry.
